The ARTIST

artist bio

Kai

Charlotte-based artist, Kai, has been honing her skills in painting and drawing for the past two years. Originally a sonic artist, born in 1994, Kai has successfully found a way to merge her 8 years of sonic experience with her new passion for drawing.

Kai has always believed in the evolution of expression and how it correlates with our evolution in spirit. As an intuitive painter, Kai’s choices in line work and bold choice of color ultimately challenges the boundaries of the ‘artist way’. Kai’s goal, as a visual artist, is for the listener and the seer to take the opportunity to evolve.

Kai believes that we are all attached to a spiral-webbed like connection that aids in our ascension. Where all of our perceptions blend allowing space for individual + collective ascension. If you’re looking for Kai, then you’re looking for evolution.

“When I evolve, you evolve..We evolve” - Kai

SAIGA

SAIGA seeks to capture the energy and vibrancy of popular culture, bringing to life the heroes, villains, and robots that have captured our imaginations since childhood. With a nod to the pointillism techniques of Seurat and the bold lines of Roy Lichtenstein, SAIGA's work is a celebration of the joy and playfulness of pop art.

Inspired by a childhood immersed in 90s culture, SAIGA's pieces are both nostalgic and contemporary, blending the familiar with the unexpected. Through the use of halftone dots and bold colors, SAIGA creates dynamic and striking pieces that are sure to catch the eye.

artist bio

TARYN HARE

Taryn Hare, creator of Ambivert Art, is a self-taught artist and Charlotte native. Being a self-proclaimed “ambivert”, one that doesn’t quite fit in the box of an introvert or an extrovert, she created Ambivert Art to showcase diverse artwork that speaks to the duality we each possess.

To achieve this she uses contrasting and compelling designs to convey a message. The message: To fully be yourself and show up in all your eccentricities, and contradictions. You don't have to choose a side or perform; you should dive fully into who you are and how you want to show up.

She wants the viewer to always feel an array of emotions whether it’s intrigue, delight, curiosity or tranquility; each piece is a mirror into the complexity and dichotomy she sees in each of us.
